Privacy & Child Data Policy

DashLab Kids is built for children. Parents control who sees what, and every kid account can be paired with a parent account that holds the keys to privacy settings.

• Account info: name (first name only by default), email, date of birth, sport.
• Activity: quests completed, drills done, badges earned, run videos you upload.
• Optional AI analysis scores generated from your own run videos.
• Device & log data needed to operate the app safely.

• You and your child — always.
• Linked coach — only if you allow video sharing in Parent → Privacy & Consent.
• School leaderboards — only if "team improvement leaderboard" is on.
• We never sell data. We never show ads to children.

Raw run videos live in private storage with signed, expiring URLs. Every video automatically deletes 30 days after upload on every plan — there is no paid tier that keeps the original video for longer. You can also delete a video any time from the Record page. We do not retain backups of deleted videos beyond what is required for routine system recovery (≤ 30 days).

We deliberately keep the numeric results generated from each run — Sprint Score, posture/arm-drive ratings, knee drive, foot-strike zone, personal bests, badges and weekly progress charts — so that kids, parents and linked coaches can compare improvement across seasons. These results contain no video frames and no biometric identifiers. They are removed when you delete the account.

• Toggle coach video access, leaderboard, and school sharing in the Parent Dashboard.
• Export a CSV or PDF report at any time.
• Delete the account from Profile to permanently remove videos, scores and notifications.

We design with the Australian Privacy Principles, GDPR-K and COPPA in mind. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without parental consent.
